In 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was founded at Howard University with a mission to be of “Service to All Mankind.” We are still fulfilling that mission 116 years later. The Nu Sigma Omega chapter was founded in Tupelo, MS, in 1980. For 44 years we have been serving Tupelo, Lee County and the surrounding areas.  We, along with AKAs across our nation and world, are serving communities through our programs.
